Although the saying "Whatever happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" shown as a proof of its wild parties and night life, Netherlands has always been a strong rival. Event organizers and club owners showing their wild side one more time. Netherlands-based pirate radio station 'Radio Veronica's old home still docked in NDSM wharf (Nooderschip) and now it's a night club.

The actual story begins at 1973. The vessel lost its anchor in a storm which ran the ship aground and eventually lead the Netherland's government to shutdown the popular illegal radio stream. Following radio station's shutdown, the boat used as a travelling discoteque and went to various locations around the world until the beginning of 80's.
No event has been announced yet but nooderschip's creative director David Cornelissen told to Resident Advisor (check out the whole article) that they are on the process of planning. 50-meters-long with a total capacity of 300, Cornelissen believes that it is important to find “a new venue for smaller initiatives that are looking for a place and don't have to worry about filling a big room."
It seems like the ship will come alive soon and we'll see some of the greatest names of the world spinning on the deck!
