One of the well-known names of UK dub and techno scene Batu just signed with XL Recordings with his brand new EP "Rebuilt" and according to his words, he created himself from the scratch.

Batu, real name Omar McCutcheon, is getting ready to share his 4 track EP on following days. Before the release on June 1st, he said about his new deal with XL Recordings "I wanted to try and challenge myself a bit for this EP. Every track represents a different phase of experimentation—and also different tempos. I wanted to push my processes further than I ever have done."

XL Recordings is a record label which is known for their protective and supportive attitude to their artists. From now on, I'm sure that Batu's performing schedule will be really busy.

On the following days you can catch Batu at Field Day, a TIME DANCE party in Bristol, Terraforma and a night in Berlin with Monolake and Lena Willikens.

Listen to "Flash React" from the new album Rebuilt.
