While the incidents happening in Georgia, by the rightist government is already painful enough, another bad news just came from the Beirut.

The city's hot spot for underground scene Garten just got shut down after the performance videos of Acid Pauli playing verses from Quran in the club, spread out on the internet.

Governor Judge Ziad Chebib said the club was "lacking proper registration and promoting material that offends religious beliefs".

However, The Gärten has issued a statement on Facebook denying that the Quran verses were played purposely and outlining that the video was not filmed during Ramadan, which was initially thought.

The club wrote: "The video that was circulated was shot 5 weeks ago and not during the Holy month of Ramadan. This does not justify what happened however it is important to point out the level of ‘journalism’ portrayed by the Facebook page that initially shared the video.

My thoughts are with the executives of Garten and I hope this issue will be solved in the near future.
